Class description
Here's what you will gain from doing improv:
Improv helps you tap into your creativity and trust your ability to be spontaneous
Become more confident in challenging situations
Help you communicate your thoughts and ideas better

You'll learn how to:
make strong connections with others
trust your feelings and follow your instincts
support and be supported by others
turn 'mistakes' to your advantage (for comedy)
create comedy in the moment!
All our standard courses run for 8 weeks (1 class per week lasting 2 hours).
Included in your FUNdamentals 1 course are the following:
A free field trip with your fellow students and teacher to see a show at the theatre
Free entrance to nICCe Sundays shows & discounts at the bar at the ICC Theatre
Two free Main Stage show tickets to watch our professional performers
Practical information: Please bring your own water from home for all classes and wear comfortable clothing.
A few common questions
How old do I need to be? 18 or older. There's no upper limit — our students span every age group, and we also run dedicated 60+ courses.
What if English isn't my first language? No problem. Even though our classes are in English, for most of our students it’s their second language. Improv is about listening and reacting - not vocabulary. It’s definitely not a language competition!
Is it physical? The course involves movement, collaboration, and physical interaction. You don't need to be athletic, by any means. If you have any accessibility needs, email icc@improvcomedy.eu before you book and we'll talk it through.
Can I pay in installments? Yes. Pay a 60% deposit when you book, then the remaining 40% two days before the course starts.
