Class description
In this workshop we build on the foundation you already have and take it further. We’ll go deeper into character work, singing from your character’s point of view, and getting in touch with the emotions underneath so the song comes from a real place. We’ll also focus on open up the voice and body through movement, and explore how simplicity can be just as powerful as complexity. You will learn a simple format that allows more freedom, and less structure.
This workshop is reccomended for those who have completed Improvised Broadway or Musical Improv Vol. 1 & 2
Class 4 will be show-preparation and finish with a showcase performance during sunday showcase at 15:00-16.30.
Your teacher is Silje, performer with The Fallen Sundays and The Killer Tunes at ICC, and a full-time improv instructor with a background in physical theatre, clowning, and vocal performance. She brings a joyful, skilled, and generous teaching style, creating a space where participants feel safe to take risks and express freely.
